I live a little west of Ft. Lauderdale and decided to stay at the Atlantic for part of my vacation. This turned out to be a great decision! Wonderful deal for a four star hotel! They treated me like a 5 star guest from the time I checked in! Great location, great food, great service!

The hotel was amazing. I have stayed in some others in Fort Lauderdale that don't hold a candle. When you enter the bathroom through the double doors, there is a separate room for the commode, a shower room and a bathtub. The partial ocean view from our 11th floor balcony was much more than partial - and by being on the side of the hotel I got to see the city side and sunset as well. The room was very clean and modern, with dark wood furniture, a liquor bar, and a mini bar. The bed was not the firmest, but extremely comfortable nonetheless. The pool was like warm and had a fabulous view of the beach below. Some like the pool water colder for a more refreshing feel...I'll take it this way any day. We had an excellent flatbread pizza by the pool and salsa and warm chips. The customer service at this hotel was the best I have experienced in the area. The only downside is the $* a day parking, but everyone charges when you are on the beach..and the valet personnel were extremely quick and personable. I recommend this hotel to couples and business travelers. It was a fabulous, peaceful experience and I hope to return soon.

First of all, do yourself a favor, upgrade to the ocean-view rooms. You will not regret it. Our view was breath taking. The hotel is literally across the street from the ocean. It's in a hotel-dense area, so the beach is not crowded with locals. We spent all day at either the beach, or the pool that overlooked the beach. Then we spent all night walking to any one of the restaurants or bars within a mile. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. I can only hope I get a chance to return here.
