I booked a club floor room for $* a night, 4/14-4/16. Check in at the 16 floor told I got an upgrade. Wonderful room with 2 huge LCD tvs, 2 sink bathroom with an amazing toilet. The seat cover automatically rises as you approach. When leaving it will auto flush and close the cover. The curtains also have a remote control and there are 2 controls for the ac. The excutive lounge is very simple. You have a breakfast of bread, simple pastries , fruit, cereal , can juices and coffee. There are only packaged snacks and the same beverages inside a cooler, including japanese beers. The internet used to be free, inside their business center. They have changed to self service computers inside a now converted lounge. The rate is * yen for 5 minutes. Better to walk over to the nearby Shingawa Prince for at least a decent rate of *yen for 10 minutes, same as the airport.

All of the employees in this hotel were very courteous. We had prompt service anytime we asked for it. We did not visit the restaurants in the hotel, because there were numerous places to eat at the train station, but they also had a conveniece store that had rice balls and sandwiches and pastry, if you wanted a light snack. They had delivery service if you wanted to send a box somewhere in Japan and also free internet. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The concierge desk was very helpful and helped us with all our questions. They could all speak English. The only thing that was a negative was the long walk, slightly uphill, from the train station. It was 5-10 minute walk depending if you were going downhill or uphill. We took the taxi for $7.10 a couple times when we had too many heavy bags.

Very easy to find, staff were most helpful, rooms were clean and neat, 3 singles in one room - still a bit of room to spare. Food in the hotel was very good, a little on the expensive side - gave us 20% discount coupons.

Very easy to find, staff were most helpful, rooms were clean and neat, 3 singles in one room - still a bit of room to spare. Food in the hotel was very good, a little on the expensive side - gave us 20% discount coupons.

Ensure you book the Grand Prince New Takanawa - has udnergone a nice renovation to its rooms and soon public areas. Large modern rooms, some with great views over tokyo. Easy walk to Shinagawa station that connects you to the local subway or Narita Airport Express.
Breakfast room a little dated adn food was ok - some room for improvement.
Fitness centre is located in the adjacant Sakura tower - great new equipment and the wlak back through the Japanese Garden is very relaxing.
Highly recomend this hotel for business or leirsure.
